Can I make a copy of a class?
Yes, you can. Once you have put together all the content you would like to use and created a class, you may want to use that syllabus for another group of students or save a separate copy for reference. This can be done by the educator who created the class as well as anyone that has been added as a co-educator.
Please note that in either case the new class will not include any learners who were added to the original class, and the only remaining educator will be the one who created the copy. All recorded progress will also be removed. The content saved to the class will be available, but will be un-posted. You can find out more about managing and posting content to a class in this article.
Copying the Class
First, go to the Classes I teach section of your Dashboard which will display classes you have created, as well as those on which you are a co-educator. Select the 3-dot menu from the top right of the class in question, then click Copy.
A message will pop up to confirm that the copy will not include any students or other co-educators from the original. To complete the process, click the Copy class button.
The copy of the class will now be saved to your dashboard, and once you have made any desired changes you can use the class code to invite new students, as well as add new co-educators via the Class Settings.
