What are LabXchange’s system requirements and supported browsers?
LabXchange is designed to work well on most modern operating systems and browsers. For the best experience, we recommend using the most up-to-date version of your browser and operating system.
We actively support:
- Windows 10 and newer
- macOS 12 (Monterey) and newer
- Recent versions of ChromeOS
LabXchange is compatible with the latest versions of:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari
If you’re using an older system or browser, LabXchange may still work, but performance and compatibility may vary. Keeping your browser updated helps ensure full access to our features and the best possible experience. If you do experience any issues you can report them via our contact form, or via the "report" button on the content in question.
LabXchange also performs well on slower internet connections. While we recommend around 1 Mbps per device for smooth use, the platform remains accessible at lower speeds—content may just take longer to load. Certain simulations may also perform sub-optimally at lower speeds.
Can I use LabXchange on a Chromebook?
