How do I change my email address/full name/date of birth/country?
Visit Account Settings and click the Update information button to change your email address, birthday, full name, and country or region of residence associated with your account. You can also change your password on this page.
Note that you can also reach the Account Settings page from your user menu in the top right of the LabXchange website.
How do I change my username?
Sorry, you cannot change your username without creating a new account. If you would like to change your name or email address, you can do so under Account Settings.
How do I select my preferred language?
On the Account Settings page, click change under the Set Language heading. You can then select a language from the available options.
How do I add links to my social media accounts?
It is possible to add links to your LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter profiles using the Update information on the Account Settings page, but please note that this information will be listed on your edX profile only.
Any information of this type you would like displayed on your LabXchange profile can be added in the About section of your profile page.
How can I link my account to simplify logging in?
After clicking Update information on the Account Settings page, scroll down to the Linked accounts section. You can then link your edX account with an existing Apple, Facebook, Google or Microsoft account so simplify the login process.
How can I delete my account?
Visit Account Settings to delete your LabXchange account. Please note that deleting your account and personal data is permanent and cannot be undone. EdX and LabXchange will not be able to recover your account or the data that is deleted.
If you would also like to delete your edX account, please visit edX.org. Please note, however, that if you delete your edX account before deleting your LabXchange account, you will not be able to log into LabXchange to delete your account. We recommend that you first delete your LabXchange account, and then your edX account.
Can I restore my deleted account?
Deleting your account and personal data is permanent. It cannot be undone. EdX and Labxchange will not be able to recover your account or the data that is deleted.
