How can I see my progress in a class?
Your scores are visible in the “Progress” tab of your class.
Here you can see all of the content that has been posted in your class as well as your progress or score on each one. You can also see your class score and class progress.
How are the different scores calculated?
The progress tab provides information on your engagement with individual pieces of content assigned in the class, as well as your average score and progress through the material, as described in the table below.
Type of score |
What you see |
What it means |
Total Score |
Not Started |
You have not yet opened or looked at the content. |
% Complete |
You have completed some parts of the content (for example, some of the assets in a pathway) but have not completed all parts. |
|
Complete |
You have completed the content. (A % score is given only if the asset type is a pathway or a question.) The outcome of simulations, and your responses to the reflection questions in simulations, are visible only to you. |
|
% Correct |
The score on an individual question or the percentage of questions within a question set that were answered correctly. If you repeat a question or question set multiple times, only the most recent score will be recorded. |
|
Class Score |
% |
An average of all the questions and question sets that you have completed in the class. |
Class Progress |
% |
The percentage of the content assigned to the class that you have completed. |
You may see combinations of these scores for an individual question set. For example, if you are working on a pathway that contains a question set but have not yet finished the pathway, you may see a % complete and a % correct score in the total score column.
How long do I have to complete material assigned in my class?
This is up to your teacher, but as long as the material is visible within the class, you can work on it and your score will be recorded. Your teacher may communicate a due date for the work.
Will my score be impacted if my internet connection is interrupted?
If you are logged in to your account while completing your work, your progress will automatically be saved with one exception. Progress on simulations is saved as long as the browser window remains open. However, closing the browser window will erase all progress through the simulation. If your internet connection is interrupted but you do not close the tab, you can resume your work once your connection is restored.
Can my teacher see my score?
Yes, the class creator can see your individual scores, along with the scores for other members of the class, the average class score, and the average class progress on all of the assigned material.
What if my score is incorrect?
If you feel there has been an error in generating your score, document the work you have completed by taking a screenshot and discussing this with your teacher. If it appears there has been a technical error, please contact us to submit a description of the issue.
