Community Discussion Forums
Once you have created an account with LabXchange, you can view the various discussion forums by scrolling to the bottom of the site and selecting Community from the list of Quick links.
The discussions are separated into broad subjects, each of which contains more specific topics. Related threads will be listed under each topic. Statistics for each thread are displayed on the right (likes, comments, views, and individual commenters).
If you have something that you would like to discuss but cannot find an appropriate thread, you can create a new thread using the +Add new thread button on the heading for any topic.
Options for the thread you are currently viewing are displayed on the right hand side of the page.
- Follow thread will send you a notification whenever the thread is updated.
- Like will show that the thread is popular by adding to the stats.
- Share allows you to share the thread on social media, or generate a direct link to the thread. Note that unregistered users will not be able to view the thread using this link.
- Reply to thread lets you create a new comment on the thread.
If you would like to reply to a specific comment on a thread, you can use the Reply button on the bottom right of that comment. You can view all replies to a comment by selecting the drop down Replies option on the bottom left. Finally, the 3-dot menu can be used to report a comment if it infringes on the rules stated in Section 5 of our Terms of Service. Any reports made in this way will be reviewed internally, and action will be taken if appropriate.
