There are a number of situations in which you might want assistance in running a class on LabXchange, from managing a particularly large cohort to just having someone there to help your students when you aren't available. This can be solved by adding a co-educator to your class, which can be done during the setup process or at a later date.
Note that the person you would like to add as a co-educator will need to have a registered account with LabXchange and have their profile set to allow them to be found via the LabXchange search function.
When adding a co-educator to an existing class, you will first need to open the class in question from the Classes I teach section your dashboard, then click the Class Settings on the right-hand side. As previously, the last option before updating will allow you to search for users.
Once a co-educator has been added they will have all the same options as the class coordinator (adding/removing content, accepting/rejecting requests to join, viewing progress) except for the option to add another co-educator. This can only be done by the original creator of the class.
